DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR  (2000)

Starring Ashton Kutcher, Seann William Scott, Kristy Swanson, Jennifer Garner, Marla Sokoloff, David Herman and Hal Sparks.

Screenplay by Philip Stark.

Directed by Danny Leiner.

Distributed by 20th Century Fox.  83 minutes.   Rated PG-13.

Dude, Where's My Car?

Dude, where's the comedy?

A likeable cast is wasted on a tired story weighed down with weak writing and a half-assed sci-fi parody undercurrent.

You know a movie is in bad shape when one of its funniest moments is a modern, tattooed version of the old Abbott & Costello "Who's On First?" routine.  (12/00)
